Workshops
Workshops for adults consist of the
following -
1. Discuss the book, "What's Okay?"
-explain paradigm
-discuss caution
-discuss introduction and curriculum applicability sheet
-explain each lesson
a) overview
b) story
c) questions
d) answers
2. Adult based skits are used to explain 3 conflict resolving
child-based statements. These statements deal with bullying. They
are taught in the book, "What's Okay?" and performed in the school
presentation.
3. Whole School Approach- Adults are
shown how to find a balance between allowing children to handle
their conflicts on their own and intervening. Adults are shown how
to direct children to create and perform their own skits.
4. Role Playing Scenarios- are used to show how the 3 child- based
and 3 adult- based statements can be applied.
Recommended Participants:- Teachers, Parents, Caregivers and
Community Organization Representatives.
Length of workshop- 1 hour
Cost- $300 for 1 or $500 for 2
